## What makes a water loss in a chancery different from any other commercial loss?

## Who authorizes entry, and how long does that take at 4 a.m.?

Access to wet cavities is made where it will not show. Small inspection openings behind a baseboard, inside a closet, or in a back-of-house room let a crew get dry air into a wall without touching a decorated surface. The baseboard comes off first and goes back on numbered.

## What does after-hours and weekend sequencing look like?

Drying is continuous by nature. A dehumidifier that stops at six in the evening gives back overnight some of what it took out. Buildings that cannot leave a crew or a machine unattended have to reconcile those two facts.
